started off a bit tame - underpowered

about sums up Pevensey Bay morning session .. though 5.7m Expression & Tiga X-Style Wave 109 was my downwind tool of choice .... I so nearly took the 8.5m & Manta 75, left it rigged on the beach.

3 of us out, I won the downwinder prize ... got fed up trying to stuff it upwind against the current so decided to just enjoy the session and eventually beached miles downwind for a breather, checked the time and the number of fishermen lining the beach between my rest point and the car park from where I launched .... opted to walk back. De-rigged to carry kit and rescue ranger 'gutted' appeared to save the lonesome hike .... walk of shame replaced with chauffeur driven ride back to base ...

Sunshine and wind, though a bit up and down for 5.7m, a good sail, shame about the downwinder aspect with such a strong current running.

Aiming to get a pm sail sunday, maybe have tide pushing other way to make life a bit easier ... hopefully sun will be about for the session too ....
